I have always found it interesting for an architect to be able to design both the building and its furniture. Being able to create your own furniture not only according to your needs but also the architecture and its specificities. I worked on plans and transmitted them to Antoine Pohl for production. Using black MDF as raw material.
How to save maximum space in a small space and meet the needs of the family. Easy access to the sink for children who, using the small integrated bench, can easily access it.

Footrest or small folding seat, these small blocks are very practical on a daily basis. An imperative: to be able to support the weight of an adult, both standing and lying down. The design had to harmonize with the bathroom furniture (slots) and the use of black MDF.

The challenge was to be able to insert a sauna into a complex architecture, with a roof slope that was not always straight. But the challenge has been met. Creation of the plans, construction of the structure, placement of the Aspen finish and creation of the various accessories (benches, headrests). The headrests were designed to be able to serve at the same time as removable backrests placed on a backrest slat fixed all around, hiding indirect lighting. Exterior finish in black MDF… of course !

The piece of furniture was designed according to its location, along an 8 meter wall with two large semi-circle windows. Mix between shelves and large drawers with a small recess leaving a seat. The central part is a frame covered with a fabric similar to those used for baffles. In this way, infrared remote controls can operate while leaving various devices hidden (decoder, game consoles, TV boxes, etc.).
